The 42-year-old reality star just uploaded a new mirror image for fans, in which she can be seen wearing a gray logo sweatshirt, a lurex turtleneck from the Balenciaga and Adidas collaboration, skimpy black shorts emblazoned with Adidas’ iconic white stripes, and a black over the knee boots by Balenciaga from their Spring/Summer 2023 collection.
While Kardashian is no stranger to stunning in pieces from both of these brands, with Balenciaga being her ex Kanye West’s label of choice and him having just lost his Yeezy deal with Adidas (thanks to his violent anti-Semitic comments), some fans find this interesting. time.

Kim Kardashian’s Sultry, Curve-Hugging Balenciaga x Adidas Get-Up
In the shot of the SKIMS mogul, she is seen sitting on a couch, posing to show the side profile of her body and holding her phone with a black purse covering her face. Kardashian wore her long, wavy blonde hair down and parted in the middle for the shot, and was seen hanging in her wardrobe.
For her caption, the style icon, who really needs no introduction, kept her message to fans simple and wrote “hey.” While racking up millions of likes in the process, Kardashian’s picture also prompted a number of approving comments and others slamming her for wearing products from the label, which is currently facing backlash for its latest ads.
“Amazing number,” one fan wrote, while another expressed his thoughts with a flurry of heart emojis. Kardashian has been a brand ambassador and outspoken fan of Balenciaga for several years, and her ex West (who is now legally known as Ye) collaborated with the label on the popular Yeezy Gap line earlier this year. The fashion powerhouse (along with Adidas) cut all ties with Ye following his spate of anti-Semitic comments and controversial statements.
Balenciaga hit with new ads
In the comments section of Kardashian’s post, many fans called on the mother-of-four to “call Balenciaga” or to “stop wearing” their clothes after a recent ad campaign that many didn’t like.
Balenciaga has since apologized for its controversial holiday ad campaign, which featured children holding teddy bears and purses with fetish accessories including belts, cuffs and fishnets. This then prompted thousands of TikTok, Twitter and Instagram users to use a new hashtag this week— #cancelBalenciaga.
Demna Gvasalia, Georgian fashion designer and creative director of Balenciaga, just released a statement on Instagram about the matter, writing: “We sincerely apologize for any offense caused by our holiday campaign.” He continued: “Our teddy bear bags should not feature children in this campaign. We immediately removed the campaign from all platforms.”
