
FluidOne has today announced the acquisition of Sheffield-based MSP Highlander Computing Solutions.
Cloud and Total Network says the purchase will see revenue grow by 35 percent.
Highlander Computing Solutions focuses on corporate IT infrastructure, managed SME IT services, cloud IT services and cyber security services.
FluidOne said the company will represent nearly 50 percent of the group’s portfolio.
Highlander Computing Solutions MD Steve Brown, said: “When FluidOne approached us, we weren’t selling. In fact, other companies had approached us many times in the past, but we had never found anything. suitable for our future..

CEO Russell Horton said the addition of Highlander will help the company grow to focus on the SME market.

After the acquisition is completed, Steve Brown will remain as CEO, and Highlander’s long-time CEO, Rich Field, remains with the business as an advisor to the board of directors.
FluidOne’s CEO, Russell Horton, will become Highlander’s chairman, with FluidOne’s directors Brendan Lynch, Chris Rogers and Roy Hastings also joining Highlander as legal directors.”
