In Douglas’ bedroom, Taylor doesn’t understand what’s going on, but nothing is going to spoil the day. Thomas assures her that he and Steffy will take care of their little one and she can focus on her special day. Steffy snaps, “Nice try Thomas, but mom needs to know what you did.” Taylor looks frustrated and worried.

In the Forrester’s living room, Li tells Ridge and the others that Douglas still seemed somewhat calm. Ridge says it’s not like him. Finn offers to go check on him, and Eric thinks he’s probably just overwhelmed. Li notes that this is a big day — especially for Ridge. He looks pensive.
At Brooke’s, Donna and Katie assure Brooke that they will get through this terrible day together and tell her how much they love her. There’s a knock on the door and Brooke frowns – she wasn’t expecting anyone. He walks over to it, opens it, and exclaims, “Dad!” Stephen and his girlfriend Lucy give her a big hug while Donna and Katie giggle in happy surprise.
Stephen and Lucy hug Donna and Katie, who are excited about how nice it is to finally meet the girl face to face. Lucy explains that they were passing by and that Stephen wanted to make their visit a surprise. They get excited about Hope’s fashion preview and Lucy says that the Forresters and Logans are an unstoppable team. The girls’ faces fall and Stephen asks them to bring him to it. Brooke reveals that Ridge is getting married to Taylor today.
At the Forrester estate, Ridge thanks Carter for agreeing to the ceremony and Li assumes the wedding will begin soon. Eric thinks, “Not without a bride…”

Upstairs, Thomas and Steffy argue as he urges her to let it go and make their mom and dad happy. Steffy snaps, “Brooke Thomas never called child protective services like dad thinks!” Taylor was stunned.
At Brooke’s, she tells Stephen that she doesn’t trust Thomas, who has made no secret of his feelings for her, and that she wants him out of Ridge’s life. “And here we are!” Stephen thinks Ridge should give her the benefit of the doubt and tell her what’s going on before running back to Taylor, “I mean, what the hell?” He wishes he could do more to help. Brooke assures him that just being there and supporting him is enough. They hug and express their love.
At the Forrester mansion, Carter notices Ridge looking out the window. She tells him that she wants him to be happy. Ridge snaps, “I am.” Carter accepts this and assures him that she is there to support and help him. They rejoin the others wondering what’s holding Taylor back. Li says she was almost ready when she saw her. Carter finds herself overwhelmed with feelings for her, Steffy, and Thomas.

Upstairs, Steffy won’t let her parents get married without finding out the truth. She knows they love each other, but Brooke didn’t call CPS. Thomas tells Steffy that this is a bad idea. Steffy explains to Taylor that Douglas has a voice changer app on his phone and plays part of Brooke’s call to her. It then replays the call with Thomas’ voice. He tells his mother that it is not what it seems. Taylor exclaims, “Tell me now!” Thomas says, “I called CPS.” Taylor gasps, “Oh my god!” Thomas claims it doesn’t matter – look where they are now. The job was done and Brooke was out of their lives. Their mother will marry their father. Steffy protests that they can’t base their marriage on a lie. “Father must know the truth!”
At Brooke’s, everyone is struggling to grasp that Ridge is remarrying Taylor. Stephen wonders what could have happened to make Ridge shut her down like that. Brooke doesn’t know, but she increasingly thinks that Thomas had something to do with it. Donna explains that she doesn’t even try to hide her disdain for Brooke. Katie adds that Steffy and Thomas have been a relentless campaign, although Steffy has lines she won’t cross…Thomas, not so much. Brooke is amazed that Thomas somehow got between Ridge and her, and now he’s just minutes away from marrying another woman.

In Forrester’s living room, Finn reports that Steffy, Thomas, and Taylor are all in the room together. He didn’t want to knock. Ridge shrugs, “Give them their moment.”
Upstairs, Steffy tells her mother that she wants her to marry Ridge, but not start their life together based on a lie. Taylor paces and breathes rapidly as Steffy yells that Ridge thinks Brooke called CPS and that it’s a lie. He points at Thomas, “That was you!” Thomas wonders why she is so determined to blow it. She had wanted their parents to be together for years and she should thank him! Taylor explodes, “Thank you?!? Thomas, do you realize what you’ve done? Why, why did you do that?!? What is wrong with you? You manipulated the whole situation. I thought you had changed!”
Thomas has changed; he just did it for their family. Brooke has blown up and destroyed their family for years and he’s sick of it. He sees the look Taylor gives Steffy and is sorry if he disappointed her, but Ridge says he wants to be with her because he loves her, not because of anything Brooke did. “So go down and marry a man.” Steffy agrees to a point, but they can’t get married that way. “Mom, you have to say something.” Taylor exclaims, “Oh my God, Thomas, I can’t even look at you! Why did you do that?!?” Steffy doesn’t care about Brooke, but what Thomas did to her was wrong – Taylor needs to tell Ridge. Taylor wants to believe he’s not with her because of something Brooke did. Steffy repeats , that he needs to know. Thomas tells his mother that if she tells his father, his relationship with him will be ruined. Taylor exclaims that he should have thought about that before he did that! Steffy and Thomas take turns telling Taylor what to do, until the wedding music starts. Taylor panics, “What should I do?!?” She asks for a minute. Thomas tells her, “Just do it. Go and get married.” Steffy says, “Not until you tell dad first.” When Taylor is alone, she exhales and suffers.
At Brooke’s, she muses that Ridge is probably going to make a vow to Taylor during the conversation. “What’s happening?”

In the Forrester living room, everyone is waiting for the bride. Steffy and Thomas show up and Ridge asks if he should know about any trouble. Thomas says he and his mother were just talking about how much this day means to their family. Douglas and Steffy look at each other and she nods at him. On the way to the altar, he returns the phone to the boy.
The wedding march begins and Taylor descends the stairs with her bouquet in hand. He looks at Steffy and then Thomas and Ridge tilt his head, sensing something is wrong. Taylor walks up to the altar looking emotional and joins Ridge who asks, “Are you okay?”
